Our 20th Anniversary!!

To celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, Jeff and I spent four wonderful days in Ketchum, Idaho and the surrounding Wood River Valley.

On the way to Ketchum, we stopped at Centennial Marsh near Fairfield for some bird watching.  It was a very pretty marsh and we saw a lot of birds and ducks.

This is the trail head of a 6 mile hike/run we did.  The trail followed a creek for 3 miles--through forest and mountain country--and then we came back the same way.  There were a lot of hills and a lot of rocks on the trail, so it turned out to be a much harder run than we thought it would be.  Plus, with the elevation gain, we were definitely breathing heavy.  It was hard but fun!

Another fun thing we did was to rent some bikes and explore.  The Sun Valley area has more than 30 miles of paved trails.  We rode from Ketchum to Hailey and then back.  It was a beautiful day and so much fun!  We figured we probably rode about 24 miles that day.
