Snowpocalypse

We had record amounts of snow in the Boise area this winter. It was crazy! We wouldn't have been able to drive through our neighborhood without our truck that had 4-wheel-drive. The streets of our neighborhood felt like big oceans of snow and cars were getting stuck all the time. Some people were simply stuck at home without any way to navigate through all the neighborhood snow. Finally, after a couple of weeks, our homeowners' association brought in some plows and heaped up giant piles of snow all around the neighborhood. This made for interesting navigation when driving but lots of fun for kids.

her hutch to keep her insulated from the frigid temperatures.

All the snow made good hiding places for Aubrey.

We had at least 5 snow days this winter, and Aubrey was happy to stay home from school and play in the snow.

Nutmeg actually seemed to do just fine in the cold, snowy weather.

These photos were taken after all the major snow came through and things were actually starting to melt.
But it took a LONG time for everything to melt!
