We went on a morning desert hike near Bruneau, in search of reptiles for Dallin. The hike is down in a little canyon that eventually meets up with the Bruneau River. It was one of those off-trail kind of hikes where we were traipsing through a lot of vegetation. Unfortunately, it was probably too cool for snakes, although the last part of our hike we did see quite a few lizards. And my phone camera doesn't do them justice, there were a lot of different kinds of wild flowers that looked really beautiful in their desert surroundings.
