We took advantage of MLK Day to drive to Bogus Basin and try out their XC ski trails. Overall, I enjoyed the trails at Ponderosa State Park better. There are more hills at Bogus! I prefer flatter trails since I lack expertise in basic skiing maneuvers. And there wasn't any fresh snow, so my crashes were a bit rough and icy. But it was a beautiful day and we still had a good time.
