Labor Day Weekend

Tessa and Nate were in town Labor Day weekend for a friend's wedding. We were super glad their friend got married so we could spend some time with them! They were busy on Thursday and Friday with work and the wedding, but we packed a whole day of activity into Saturday and had a grand time! (All of the pics below are from our busy Saturday.)

Tessa and Nate gave Jeff a Crio Bru (brewed cacao) starter kit for Father's Day and while they were
here they helped him figure out how to use it. It was delicious!

Tessa and Nate went with me to explore a nursery, Madeline George. I'd
never been there before, and we ended up loving it. We saw so many
interesting plants. This arch was beautiful and full of grapes!

We went to the nursery so Nate could help me pick out some house plants. He has a green thumb for 
house plants. I do all right with plants outside, but tend to kill everything inside. We ended up with
this Song of India, African Violet, and Snake Plant.

Enjoying milkshakes from the original Fanci Freez downtown. We always go to Fanci Freez now
when Nate and Tessa are in town. ;)

After milkshakes we covered 10 miles on the greenbelt via electric scooters and bikes. Fun times!

After the greenbelt we introduced Nate to Trader Joe's and look what I
found there--this cute plant in a llama! It's a Dwarf Umbrella plant. And
coincidentally, we found out Nate loves llamas!

For dinner we introduced Nate and Tessa to one of our favorite restaurants, The Empenada Club.
We had a variety of savory and sweet empanadas out on the patio. It was a busy but very fund day!
